About IntroVerify

I built IntroVerify because I'm an artist and I want to protect my fellow artists. We've all seen the DMs for buyers interested in our work, sometime promising thousands, sometimes looking for a commission, or to license our work. How can we trust them?

Commissioned artists take on new clients constantly, over DM, with almost nothing to go on. That's a strange amount of trust to extend, over and over, to strangers, and there wasn't a tool built for that moment.

I've been a software engineer for 25 years. I've worked at Amazon, AOL, and a lot of companies you've never heard of. I'm also a serial entrepreneur. This is the 6th company I've built in 35 years. But I'm no tech bro.

Anyway, all that to say, with my experience in business and software, I knew I could build the right tool to solve this problem, this scourge of scammers. It's a tremendous effort, but I think it's worth a try. Why not turn the tables on these terrible people?

IntroVerify exists to give artists a quick, honest answer before they commit their time, effort, or money. Not a lie detector, and not a background check. Just a few obvious (and invisible) checks that a scammer would rather not do.
